I just bought the Switchback 22 because I needed new luggage to take with me on an airplane as a carry on. Now on the website the dimensions say 14 x 22 x 9, just the right size for a carry on. When I measured the Switchback, it was just a little bit bigger that what the website posted. Now I do not know if I should take it with me as carry on. The main reason why I bought this is because I thought I could use it as a carry on.

I carry my SWB 22 on board all the time....I have the new version and you need to remove the daypack before you get on board.
