my daughter is 5'7" and weighs 130 lbs.and wears a size 6. A small was plenty of room so go for medium...we called Backcountry to confirm which size to make sure...go by the measurements for this product.

I'd recommend a medium. It's cut to accommodate layers.

It is a tighter fitting jacket. So a L may be the way to go.
