I have 2 questions....What is the inseam measurement for the shorts once they are converted and is the elastic on the legs tight?

I am 5'2", and when converted to shorts, these hit right above my knee...so they are bermuda short-length. The elastic on the legs is not tight - just enough for it to gather around your calf, but not actually cinch. However, there is a velcro tab that allows you to adjust it about 1" tighter.
