You can nest a standard 32 oz. Nalgene in the cup..

if the 1l bottle is a tall one then its possible!! Tall and narrow bottle and short and fat mug!! Basic physics will fit it over the end!!!

No. You can't fit a 1L bottle in a .7L pot. Basic physics.
