Does anyone know how these fit compared to the other MK pants? The store nearby my place only carries the Mountain Pant and and the Alpine Utility, none of the jeans. I tried on a 32x32 (my usual size) Mountian Pant and they were really tight in the waist but the length was fine. The next closest size was a 34x32 and these were just about perfect. I've heard that the dimensions on the pants are exact but I'm still not clear if this is the case for the jeans as well.

If the 32x32 size was tight, you might try a 33x32. MK sizes are "true to size," meaning there is not extra wiggle room added to the waist. There is about a 1/2" added to the length to account for some shrinkage. The MK Original Mountain Jean has more of a classic jean fit, so it is not an identical fit to other men's MKs. The rise is an inch shorter and both the gusset and leg are less full. Still, you will likely fit into the same size in both styles.

I normally wear a 30x32, but in MK (these and the original pant) I wear 32x32. The general opinion seems to be to size up in the waist.
