The Sirius 2 and Sirius 3 are both 84" long. The Sirius 2 is 18" shorter in width (53" vs 71"). Backcountry.com has the Sirius 3 footprint in stock: http://www.backcountry.com/store/SDS0383/Sierra-Designs-Sirius-3-Footprint.html

It will fit under it, but not cover it completely. You need the footprint for the 3 for it to be effective.
