I'm 6'3" and weigh 180lbs. My shirt shirt size is 16.5 x 36. I'm torn between a large and an extra large. I'm concerned about sleeve length.

I disagree. I'm 6' 4", 185 and the larges are perfect in sleeve length Mike. You'll likely be disappointed with the waist width of an XL.

Since it's a slimmer fitting jacket, an XL would be the better choice. Longer sleeves, but a slightly looser fit. I'd rather a little room than an exposed wrist.
