Item #CHA0020 | 118 in Stock

Do these flips have the Vibram sole still or has it been replaced...

Do these flips have the Vibram sole still or has it been replaced with the recycled sole - I am concerned this will have a quality impact.

The current Chaco Flips do NOT have Vibram soles. Chaco is now making a Flip Pro with Vibram Pro soles, but they are a separate item http://www.chacousa.com/US/en-US/ViewProduct.mvc.aspx/19787M/0/Mens/Flip-Pro?galleryId=M-FLIP. The Vibram Pro sole is designed for water use, and unlike the Vibram Unaweep sole used in most of the Z line, the Vibram Pro sole is very soft and will leave black marks. The EcoTread sole used on these Chaco Flips looks very similar to a Vibram sole, and is made from 25% recycled rubber, and is non-marking.

I just got a pair a month ago and they didn' thave the vibram soles, but they're 25% recycled content so you can feel good and hug a tree.

Affirmative. Indeed they do, TP. The Chaco Flips are probably THE best flip flops I've ever worn, hands down. The soles seem to last forever thanks to the Vibram rubber soles. Vibram rubber = bombproof... the Flip Sandals are too!
