I bought these Z2's with the side-by-side/double double strap in black from you guys after christmas and am just now getting to wear them every day after work. The thing is that i have the "strap is to tight on the big toe loop" problem. I've been doing some searches and have seen similar posts on reviews but no fixes. Any clue? Am i cursed to go back to Teva? Can i squirt some type of lube in the groves on eiter side of the toe strap or does that cancle the warrenty? I realy like these sandles except for the purple toe effect. Thanks for any insite you or fellow gear junkies can offer.

If using chemicals seems odd to you (like it does to me) use Simple green (the natural cleaner). If you soak your chacos in watered down simple green the straps will loosen......

On Chaco's website it recommends using Armor All to loosen up the straps.

Take some WD40 and spray it into the toe grooves, this will loosen it up and make it easier to adjust. Also, don't crank the straps down as tight. I hope this helps!
