Custom X or T6........or Vapor? Multiple opinions wanted and all input appreciated...im looking to really really really step up my all mountian freestyle riding, and im looking for the best board to help me do that, my flimsy park board just doest cut it...Ive read every reveiw possible and i cant decide between the Custom X and the T6. T6 looks bomb but im diggin the ICS on the Custom X, heck id even shell ouf for the Vapor if someone can validly convince me too. (this board will ever see the park untill i start doing HUGE kickers, i need a pure mountian board)

Not the vapor for sure if you're looking for an all-mountain board. I had the chance to check one out a couple times and that thing is stiff and washes out on hardpack like there's no tomorrow. Super light. I was used to riding lib mtx edges though so take this with a grain of salt.

Wow man, that sounds like a blast! But yea I'm always sure to check my ego at the door, ya know? I let the board put me in my place until I feel good on the runs, but I'm definitely setting up a lil trip; sounds perfect to me! I'll post on a q&a somewhere whenever I figure it out; bring your new board and meet us, bro! P.S. A 7 off ANY kicker sounds like a dream to me, haha!

thanks for the input guys...i can only afford one of these all mountian decks cuz im gunna get a fix or a hero for improving my park abilities so i need to pick the right one....and Taylor the summer snow in Timberline is amazing. The slush is as soft and forgiving as powder, but its as fast as a fresh groomer on a january morning. no wet soggy slow board grabbing crap!...and timberline is like the place to be in summer, just make sure you bring your skills and a humble attitude, cuz i though i was a halfway decent rider till i saw what the riders at timberline could do. im talkin back flips off of lil bumps in the ground and 7's at hair raising heights off of relativly small kickers that i could barley clear!

Hey man, I just went through this process. Short and skinny, My friend has a custom x and this year hit a rock...(Nothing his never summer can't handle..nothing major at all, i was there) The gouge went to the core, the board is pretty much done for. His is 2 years old too so the warranty was expired, and he bought it from a shop. They seem pretty fragile, I know this goes against most posts but this is just my experience. I've been riding a while and have an old lib tech jaimie lynn from 01/02 or 02/03 can't really remember, anyways it's OLD! but so pretty.. :) and a custom from 05/06. So it's time for a new stick, this year the custom was donated to a friend...and the lib will go towards a bench. I ended up buying both! hahaha a 162 T6 day before yesterday and a 159 Vapor! Brociety just had the vapor on today for 449! and I said Fcuk it! SOLD. Keep your eyes glued to that brociety.com and w/a little patience you'll see all 3 on there for dirt cheap (u prob already knew that) The T6 will rock the big mtn runs for me and I'm anxious as hell to see what this vapor is about and if I don't like it, I can send it back for a full refund! I got both for the price of a new T6! lol...i'm still smiling. Anyways, I hope that helps... My friends experience w/the custom x kinda scared me away from it, but it's a bad-ass machine for sure! Just seems a bit.....brittle PS Thanks Back country....these mo fo's rock!

Lemme say first off that I haven't ridden any of the three sticks you mentioned, but since you wanted all opinions, perhaps I can drop a bit of insight. I won't tell you one way or the other, because I'm not qualified to do so, but after reading reviews on four different sites, I think I can help, at least a little. With what I've read, I have yet to find any review that can substantially knock the T6 on any bad aspect. Also, and I'm sure you've read it, an answer on the T6 page says he bought a Vapor and wishes he still at a T6. As far as the Custom X goes, Custom's have been around long enough to deserve some respect, too. With the ICS system, you know it'll be more responsive... Again, I'm not telling you which one to pick, but from a fellow boarder to another, I like your options. I'd give up food for a month for any of these three; personally, I've been peeping the Custom X for a while as well. Good luck with your decision, Cyrus! Also, kudos for stepping up the all-mtn free ride! And hey, how's Timberline in the summer? Does Mt. Hood drop some good snow in June? I'm dying for a summer trip.
