Looking for a shirt for Philmont in the summer. Don't know what to expect temp wise but pretty hot in July and I am looking for a shirt that will assist me in sun protection without the need for sunscreen with the exception of my face. I also do not want to overheat. Would this work or is it too hot? Any other suggestions for something that can be worn for several days with out the smell issues?

It would be perfect for Philmont. It is extremely lightweight which is perfect for the summers and wicks sweat away like no tomorrow. It would be a good choice for that type of trip.
