Chaco Z/1 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

i was looking to buy my first pair of chacos, only i have a bunion on my big toe and was wondering if the z/1 would be a better sandal for me than the z/2 because of the toe strap.

I have a bunion on my left big toe, and the Z/1 is fantastic for me. Because the Chaco's adjust so much to fit each individual foot, you can make that foot a bit wider in that area, but keep the other foot where it needs to be for comfort and support. I have about 6 pairs of Chaco's in boots, sneakers, and various sandals. They are the only shoes that keep my feet comfortable. I wish they had something a bit dressier, as I get teased when I wear socks with my Z/1's.
