what are the major differences between the Jett and the Vinyl?...

By Ranked #413 - Snowboards April 20, 2009

what are the major differences between the Jett and the Vinyl? Would you ride the Jett if you were more into mountain, groomers? Vinyl if you were into groomers? park, terrain riding? What would you suggest for someone who is just starting out who has only been riding groomers, but hasn't gone enough to attempt the park/street riding, but will eventually want to go in that direction. Which is more versatile?

The Vinyl will be more for freestyle, while the Jett is more all-mtn. They're both directional, but the Jett has a setback to keep a little longer. For a beginner, I'd say go with the Jett. It may be more forgiving.
