Like all non-goretex boots, they will eventually wet out in wet conditions. Once wet, they will take a long time to dry unfortunately. But if treated properly, they should be fairly waterproof for a few days on wet trail.

Yes, one piece full grain leather upper. Such a killer boot. About the only leather lined boot on the planet

The boot is made with waterproof leather (tanned). with some nikwax or other leather waterproofing treatment this boot would be essentially waterproof. These are the old Raichle Mt Crest which is a great boot
