Allow me to clear that up. NO waterproofing. Not even a light drizzle. It'll come through this like toilet paper. Get a true shell if you want waterproofing and breathability, like this one: http://www.backcountry.com/store/TNF3475/The-North-Face-Alliance-Jacket-Womens.html

no, seems to more of a wind breaker, minimal if any wateeproofing
