Baffin Impact Winter Boot - Women's

I just got these boots in the mail and love them. The only problem is that the size 8 I bought (my normal size) will only allow me to wear a normal sock. Should this be sufficient? The temperature range I work in is -20F(-29C) to 15F(-10C). It would be too difficult to exchange them under my time crunch. Thanks!

I also bought an 8 (my normal size is an 8 to 8.5). When I first put them on they were really snug, and I thought I would have to exchange them for a size up. After I wore them around for an hour the inner liner conformed to my foot and now they fit perfectly.
