it says that the belt is removal? but is it i'm a little confused someone has said that they had to cut it off.
i'm just wondering if it is completely removable and if the jacket looks good when it is completely removed?

The belt is actually not removable for these jackets. The belt used to be removable for the Greenland Jackets that came out in Winter 2007, but the in the most recent winter season, North Face redesigned the Greenland Jackets so that the belt is actually attached on both sides.
