To what temperature is this down jacket good for? I know this is a subjective question, but I'd love to hear people's experiences with this jacket. I've seen one reviewer say 20F and another 5F, but its so thin so was hoping to get more feedback from others. It's a cute jacket, but I'm worried it won't keep me warm enough in the mountains.
Also, does anyone have any thoughts on how this jacket compares to Patagonia's Down Jacket?
Thanks!

I own both the TNF and Patagonia but much prefer my Patagonia - have not lost any down, mine seem to have more soft down than down with "quills". Whereas, TNF, there seem to be more down with "quills" so constantly poking through and loosing down. Both are equally warm, light and packable.

Joan, it all depends when you plan to use it for. One reviewer said that she used for ski touring in 5F. Ski touring is not exactly a sedentary activity, so the jacket will make you feel warmer than if you are just sitting around while wearing it (such as belaying). Personally, I wore this jacket under my outer shell jacket snowboarding, and I found it comfortable on the chairlift, but somewhat too hot while bombing down the hill when it's around 20F out. Compared to the Patagonia piece, the TNF is really much more packable, much lighter and uses higher quality down. The TNF is the one I'd take to go backpacking with than the Patagonia. The Patagonia piece is shorter, and more contoured, whereas the TNF piece is more uniform top to bottom.
