Does the Dragonfly stove completely fit in this pot so that the lid will fit on with the stove inside?

No! Definitely does not fit. Pot is too short to close lid. I've tried every angle, you can't close the lid to the pot with the dragonfly inside.

Yeah the Dragonfly is designed to fit into a 2L MSR stove, and this one is 2.4L so you are good to go.
