Is it common for these jackets to loose its resistance after one wash? I did the passing the sleeve through a facet test (low pressure), like i did when i first bought it and it now soaks water up.

like cyrus mentioned, treat it with DWR like nikwax, you can also find detergents to wash it in to keep the resiliency

that is very common, its happened with both of my apex bionic jackets...you can treat it with a DWR like nikwax to restore the water resistance
