Id say No. The newer version of this board is a rocker, but this years model of board is a camber. If you can already butter on a camber, then its fine. But Id listen to yule&bellow and stick with a rocker if your goal is to butter peak to base

yes it is good, but not incredible...if you are super harcore about butters, boxes and rails, then go for a scooped board (edges raised of ground 1-2 mm) like the burton fix, hero, condom, and a few others
