I think this is actually three pieces. The biner, clip and belay device. The master clip is $8.50 and the belay device is $25.95. The Fatboy HMS (which i think is the biner that comes with the set) is $13.95 which makes buying all three $50. So the set is $4-$5 cheaper.

Excellent question. That's not even the current model of Belay Master. Get on Live Chat, it might just be a typo. It happens.
