I have been sopping for a good hiking boot for about a month now. I have gone through two pairs of vasque (breeze, and wasatch) in which the goretex in both of them tore. I need a comfortable boot due to my heel spurs that can take punishment. By punishment I mean rocks, sand , mud, and most importantly water. I am so tired of getting boots anfd paying the money for waterproof only to find out later that they are just really water resisitant. I have tried goretex, merrell waterproof, and all other types. I want something that if I stand in water or I am hiking during a rain storm that wil keep my feet dry with no leaks. My question is can keen do this fpor me? Straght up no frills, just tough and 100% waterproof.
