I have a very furry Keeshond that likes to pull and I'm afraid that he might hurt his neck. Because of all his fur I need something that easy to put on. We're not what you would call hikers or campers, just me and my dog on nice long walks. Would you recommend a harness for him.Karen

This harness is not designed to discourage pulling and will actually make it easier for the dog to pull because the weight will be distributed to the shoulders and chest. Look at the similarity to a weight pulling, dog sled or skijoring harnesses which are designed so the dog can pull comfortably. If you have a strong dog that may present a problem for you. There are other harness/collar designs specifically to reduce pulling without choking the dog.

I got this harness for the very same reason and it has made walks sooo much easier. It's also comfortable because the straps are fleece-lined so they won't irritate your dog. Mine seems to like it and doesn't fuss when I put it on him.
