Has anyone used these sandals for wading in rivers? If so how do they perform compared to something like the Keen Newport H2's?

The dozers are completely synthetic, so they don't absorb water and dry off pretty quickly. The various Keens I've used, while probably a bit more comfortable in the footbed, are made of nylon and/or "waterproof" pigskin and seem to stay wet a lot longer. Like all shoes of this design, when you're on a gravel-rich trail, you'll get a good dose of rocks coming through the holes in the side. Of course, the rocks go out the same way as well. I have Keens of various kinds and Dozers and like them all.
