So what is the truth on those zippers? I've been out days when it is freezing rain at the bottom and snow up top. Without a zipper flap on the front, I'm skeptical the new Burton zippers could keep out all the wet stuff.

Yes, all the high end Burton gear this year has the Riri zips. I just bought some pants with them, but haven't had a chance to test them in the elements. If they work for you, that's a good sign. Thanks.

This jacket should have the new Riri aquazippers on it. If that is the case, and i am 90% sure it is, then you couldn't even get a fire hose to force water through the Goretex Proshell and Riri zippers. The zipper is still welded but way more durable because of the interlock that is used. Riri zips are the new thing and they perform...period!
