Unless you put two together (vintage white & White/White) you won't really notice the difference. I tried on the Vintage white in the store and liked it which I ordered later when I got home. I think the Vintage white gives you a bit warm tone to it, not quite tan.

I have vintage white and it is much paler than the yellowy-white color of an office file folder--but in the same family. Nice color. The one I got doesnt seem tan at all.
