My spare tire is off-centre on my vehicle (more to the passenger side). Will this rack still work without my bike sticking way out on the side?

This unit lets you off-set the mount (left or right) to accommodate this issue. I didn't have to use it, but it will certainly help keep your bike out of the next lane!

It will stick out quite a bit, but maybe with some clever positioning of the bike, not as much.
