Andrew's answer is not entirely accurate. The WWW's edges have a three degree base bevel on them, meaning the edge on the bottom of the board is angled up three degrees-- also called a "park tune." This allows for easier, catch-free jibs and rail slides. That said, the edges will still be sharp and not rounded. I recommend at least detuning the tip and tail where the board meets the snow (contact points). Then, take it for a ride. At this point it's your call whether you choose to detune the entire edge. On my rail boards, I generally file down the contact points and use a soft stone between the bindings. That way I have catch free nose and tail, but still have some edge control between the binders.

The come fully sharp and tuned. You will have to dull/de-tune them yourself.
