Cloudveil Buck Rail Jacket - Men's

Cloudveil Buck Rail Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 5, 2009

I'd been looking into Carhartt, and while this jacket definitely isn't Carhartt tough. I can see that this jacket can handle the job. It is thinner than I would have liked. But, I'm in Florida what do I need a beefy heavily insulated jacket for. I will be able to layer it well and wear it all the time. It needs to get a little dirty it looks a little preppy and trying too hard. But, with some stains and a little fraying in the cuffs from use I see this jacket becoming my favorite. Plus picked it up on a steal from SAC!

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's

March 3, 2009

Try the large. I'm about 5'9", 160lbs, and an athletic build and I own a medium. It fits great lengthwise and in the sleeves. A Large should adequately cover your torso and arms. I think a medium might be cut a little short. Know, too, that this jacket is cut loosely enough for more than a t-shirt if need be. I say this because even if you went with a medium, it might not provide a "tight" fit around your torso. If you mean that you won't use it as a hardshell and thus won't need a roomy fit for layering underneath... I'd still recommend a large for your length needs. It is not a loose, sloppy fitting jacket, just not "form-fitting." Enjoy!I agree a Large is the way to go. I am 6'1" 185# and I have the Large. It is a little big on me, but with the medium I felt that my movements were restricted across the shoulders. Hope this helps

Terrific Bag!

Marmot Eco Pro 30 Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Synthetic

Marmot Eco Pro 30 Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Synthetic

Rating for this product: 5 December 3, 2008

I love this bag! It is just wide enough to toss and turn a bit. The hood cinches down well. I took this bag down to below 30 degrees and was still comfortable. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone.

Thule Insta-Gator Truck Mount

November 5, 2008

It has two anchors that you place when your tailgate is down. When you close the tailgate they keep the rack from moving. If your tailgate doesn't lock then the lock on the holding arm isn't that big of a deal.

has anyone seen the old version of this it kind of looked like a bouldering chalk bucket made of vinyl? I saw it once at a TNF outlet and have been kicking myself ever since for not getting it.

Gregory Ekko Backpack 1800-2100cu in

Gregory Ekko Backpack 1800-2100cu in

Rating for this product: 5 September 22, 2006

My Ekko has never leaked. I hike in Florida and it downpours every time I'm out. It is the best pack I've ever had. I like the slim lines of this pack. My elbows never hit it when I'm scrambling over or around obstacles. It holds everything. I have nothing but good things to say about it.

What a great pack

CamelBak BlowFish Hydration Pack

CamelBak BlowFish Hydration Pack

Rating for this product: 5 September 19, 2006

I recently was in a bike ride for charity of 150 miles. My pack was the envy of the other riders. When we stopped I had snacks to spare. When there was trouble I had the tools and the spare tubes. It fit everything I needed and that was when it was compressed. I still had the option to hold more. It is one of my fav pieces of equipment. I will now start taking it hiking and everywhere else I go.
