DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's

February 4, 2009

I can't yet recommend these, but I had 2 pairs of Bronco's and they both ripped the same place: right index finger. Hopefully these are stronger.

DAKINE Bronco Glove

DAKINE Bronco Glove

Rating for this product: 2 February 4, 2009

I had 2 pairs of these gloves, neither lasted more than a month. I bought one from here, and another from Dakine themselves. They both ripped in the exact same place: my right index finger. Now I ride regular, so I'm using that had more to work the bindings, but that shouldn't matter. To contrast this, I've been wearing Burton AK Guide Gloves for 2 seasons now, and they look pristine. Fortunately the Broncos were just my backups.
Dakine replaced these with a set of Cobras, hopefully they're better.

Zero is No Lie

Oakley Zero Sunglasses

Oakley Zero Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 4 August 3, 2007

These are my second pair of zero's. I had a pair of the last version, and based on my love of those I bought these sight unseen.
Overall, I like the glasses very much. They have almost no weight at all. The nose piece and ear pieces hold on very well no matter how much sweat comes off your head. The lenses are Oakley clear, no distortion at all.
The only issue I have is the arms are rather thick, which is fine for style, but can impede peripheral vision a bit.

Best Glove Ever...

Burton AK Guide Glove - Men's

Burton AK Guide Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 6, 2007

I've been skiing/snowboarding for 20 years, I've had a lot of gloves and mittens. For my money this is as good as it gets. Very warm, completely water proof, and super comfortable. When your first get the gloves they may feel a bit small, but this is a feature, they will eventually stretch to the exact size of your hand.
I rode 40+ days last season and I wore these almost every one of those days. I rode powder, crud, groomers...everything.
Buy these gloves, you won't be disappointed.
