Burton Ak 2L Cyclic Jacket - Men's

February 12, 2009

Go with the small. I'm 5'11", 195 lbs, 42/43 jacket, 34 pants and the medium is plenty big for me.

Good jacket, keeps the snow away

Burton Ak 2L Cyclic Jacket - Men's

Burton Ak 2L Cyclic Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 12, 2009

I bought this jacket because I was looking for something to replace my tired-looking North Face shell. I just spent three days riding through deep powder in this thing, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. The length is definitely the best feature. For the first time ever, I didn't have any snow-down-yer-pants: I didn't think this was possible! The pockets are plentiful and well-laid out. The jacket has more generous fit than I would prefer (especially when compared to other brands). The hood is large enough to fit over my helmet, which is great. The jacket's neck is tall enough that it could replace my separate neck gaiter on days where it's not bitter cold. The jacket is just a shell, but I didn't need more layers than normal to maintain my usual comfort level. Overall, I'm happy that I bought this and I would recommend it to others.

Bright, multiple install options

Serfas TL-LB5 Light Bar

Serfas TL-LB5 Light Bar

Rating for this product: 4 February 2, 2009

I am very happy with this light. It operates in three modes: red, white, and flashing red/white (it alternates between the two). It came with many install options, and it's tucked under my beach cruiser's seat--I doubt that anyone casually walking by during the day time (when it's off) would ever notice that it's there. I thought it was a little pricey, but I am happy with it's functionality and I would recommend it to friends.

Comfortable and stylish

Spy Soldier Goggle

Spy Soldier Goggle

Rating for this product: 4 March 19, 2007

These goggles are very comfortable, and the strap is long enough to fit around my helmet. There is a lot of face padding, so the goggle needs to be cinched up a little tighter than would be expected to get a good seal. The vision clarity is good, and I have not had any fogging issues. I do notice a slight distortion in my peripheral vision while riding the lift, but I've never noticed it while actually riding. (When riding, you will always be looking through the center of the goggle, and this is certainly distortion free.) And, last but not least: these goggles look seriously cool. They are well-constructed, and I would buy them again.
