Mountain Hardwear Traverse Trifecta Ski Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Traverse Trifecta Ski Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 3, 2008

I have had so many comments on how sweet this jacket is, and I just have to tell them "I know." I go to school in the Upper Peninsula, and we get a lot of snow, with winds usually around 30mph and a windchill that can stretch for weeks at -20...the jacket performs. Hood is a little large, but would be perfect for a helmet.

Outdoor Research Vert Glove

Outdoor Research Vert Glove

Rating for this product: 4 February 29, 2008

I bought these as a lightweight glove for snowshoeing and the walk to class. They are sweet looking and the back material feels bomb-proof. Unless you are active, wouldn't wear them below 30 degrees. First set of gloves I can use my cell phone with.

Mountain Hardwear Traverse Trifecta Ski Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 September 10, 2007

Ordered the Traverse Trifecta in the summer and am starting to hit fall now, so I haven't fully tested it. Looking forward to giving it a shot in the winter here in the Keweenaw. It is super comfortable and looks great.

Outdoor Research Mithril Stormshell Jacket - Men's

Outdoor Research Mithril Stormshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 25, 2006

I am a student at Michigan Tech in the Keweenaw Penninsula. Had the jacket on today as my geological engineering class went out to Lake Superior in the rain. Kept the rain out flawlessly, and the wind. Standing on a rock face not really paying attention, got NAILED by a sweet crushing wave, jeans were soaked, shoes were soaked, head and torso completely dry. Awesome.
