I have about 40 knives and this is one of my favorites.

I really like the look and have gotten many compliments. the only downside is that they are tight until you get use to them. I like med size glasses. these are perfect.

Havn't put it to the test yet but I am 6' 170pounds and the med fits me perfect for around town but on a cold day of skiing or hiking, I wouldn't be able to layer a lot of layers. I may need a large.

I like this because it looks like a nice sweater but has all the functionality of a good outdoor peice. My wife even likes it and she is not a big outdoor gear person. I gave it four stars because the zipper is just a little short.

I have tried many and these are the best. The zip pocket is perfect for you key or other very important things. I will probebly buy the new design version.

not too puffy. Bought this more for casual wear but wouldn't hesitate to wear it for tecnical stuff. nice and light. I had it at four stars but now that I have owned it for 6 months or so I bumped it up to a 5.

These are the perfect size for my liking. I Have grown to like a bit bigger sunglasses to have more coverage. These are great. if you like small glasses they are not for you but I love them. I am not very cool so anything to make me cooler is good. ha ha

I love this peice. I where it so much they think it is a tatoo. not really but I love it. I have it in orange and the picture is a little mislieading because i am not a bright color guy but I loved this orange. In real life it is more dull, kind of a fall color tone rather then a deer hunt orange. I am 6' 170 and I bought a med. because I like an athletic fit, still loose but not baggy.

I have yet to find a downside to this tent. I just went on a 5 day trip with 10 other guys and it was by far the bigest, but more importantly it was also the Lightest. Me and my bro were always the first with out tent up and quickest to have it taken down. great in bad weather. The price is the only downside but you pay for the best.

perfect fit and long enough to my liking. I love the material because it drys so fast. it is a button fly instead of a velcro and I like that because velcro can scratch you if you know what I mean. buy em

This is a good product and I like that it protects my investment and favorite pack. It is easy to get my pack in it. It is a little hard to carry a heavy load so I put it on when I get to the check in stand. this would also be good to protect many things like a car seat or stroller.

I love this peice. I have used and abused it and it is still holding up. It is my warmest fleece. The only down side is that it is not wind resistant at all but I still love it.

Good for up to 2 people. this is what I take when I go backpacking when I have 2 people or less and I use the big pot for more people. I like how it actually hooks to the burner instead of just sits on it. it really helps out stability. I gave it four stars because I think the perfect shape would have been a little bit more shorter and wider. Would have liked a see-throughl lid.

The best kids summer shoe. a little spendy but my boy wears them everyday. they are solid. If they get dirty or muddy, we just put them in the sink and rinse them off.

I have owned a pair a chaos for about 8 years and they are still solid and are not worn out. I finally bought a pair of these just to get a color change and they are the best built sandals out there. I love the keens for certain reasons but that is why I have both. The chaco is going to last longer and easier to put on and take off. great sandal for years.

I have already gone through one fo these. When mine broke I was worried that I would have to buy a new one but I just went to the store and bought this and it was easy to install.

a must have if you want to have this tent for years to come. It also helps keep the rain out if the rain goes under your tent. It is also color coated.

I go backpacking about 4 times a year and camping another 5 and I have found that msr has the best fuel for canister stoves. I like the wide bottom for stability but it doesn't fit in my jetboil.

As far as I am concerned, a good rain jacket is an essential piece of backpacking gear and this one fits the bill. I use it for rain and also for warmth at night. This one works great for both.

these are the best summer shoe for kids. we have a little boy that is almost 3 and it is so nice to have a shoe that we can wash off in the sink and they will be dry in an hour. great for rivers and everything. they stay on very well.

I am so impressed with this pack. I have never had a pack that didn't hurt until this one. My back, and shoulders were not sore after a 30 mile, 3 day hike. There were times when I would hike 2 miles without adjusting any of the straps. With all other packs I have owned I would adjust the straps every 10 minutes because it was uncomfortable. The pack is a little on the heavy side but that is because it has everything you need, plenty of pockets and extras. I would much rather carry a backpack that is 5 pounds and is really comfortable and doesn't hurt my back then one that is 2.5 pounds and be miserable on the trail. This is the the cream of the crop. if you want everything you got it. do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the baltoro.

This is very warm for the weght. This jacket is always lying around because it is perfect to grab in so many occasions. Wind resistance, and repels a little water. I always grab this jacket and then my wife grabs it from me when she is cold. easy to pack up small. For me it is good down to the 40's. All around good piece.

If you are going to by dehydrated breakfast then stick with the granola. otherwise eat instant oatmeal or cream of wheat. much better. The dinners are great but eggs are below average.

Its always nice to get full for dinner when you are backpacking and you know you are going to be hiking 10 miles the next day. This is a good way to do that. very good. mountain house is the best tasting for me.

sometimes when I eat these I feel like I am at a restaurant but maybe because I just hiked 12 miles with a 38 pound pack. This one is my favorite. not quite 2 servings but I just bring along some instant potatoes or veggies or eat it myself.

I think noodle dishes are the best. Good source of calories and they taste very good. this one is great.

This is the perfect headlamp for any backpacker. Why carry the extra weight when you can have a headlamp with 4 different settings. I love the red because it doesnt ruin your night vision after they have adjusted to the dark. The protective case is also nice and very light. In my opinion it is the best on the market if you are a light-weight backpacker.

I actually use this for car camping more then backpacking because it is fairly heavy. Worked good for pancakes. would have been 5 stars if it was lighter.

If you are going to use this kind of stake you need the rope to pull it out in hard grround otherwise they are tough to get out. thats why these are nice.

These are easy to walk in and I love that they are so easy to put on and take off. highly recommended.

this is my favorite camp chair. much better then the ones you buy at walmart or the ones that look like a flag that everyone has at a tailgate. very durable.

like others said it runs a little small but a large fits me perfect and I am 6foot 170. The large weighed in at 10oz for those counting or backpacking. I would say that mine keeps me warmer then a mid fleece but it is almost windproof and has some water resistant capabilities. very durable.

comfortable and light. not a real tight fit but I have narrow feet. I ordered the size 10 that i usually wear and they were perfect. If you are doing a lot of running they may not last for more then a year but most don’t.

I love this jacket. This jacket is perfect for layering, backpacking or just taking along in case it gets cold because it comes with a stuff-sack and packs down real small. You have to know what you are buying before you buy it and think of your need. If you want to go light, this is an amazing jacket. If you want something that is ultra durable, look elsewhere. You sacrifice a little durability when you buy really lightweight stuff. having said that, I love this jacket and if you take care of it, it will last you for years. 6foot 170 and the large fits perfect.

Not an everyday shoe but are great if you use them for what they were built for. I compare it to a rock climbing shoe, you would never were them unless you were rock climbing. If you are going to do a lot of water hiking they are awesome but other then that not an everyday shoe. I have used them in escalate in some canyons and also in costa rica. worked good for both. I usually take them fishing when I am going to do a lot of wading because they stay on your foot so well and the rubber is grippy. bring some moleskin for the first hike.

These are very very comfortable and stay on very well even when you step in mud. I am not sure there is a better river shoe because they stay on so well and are very stable. my only complaint is that when you a pebble in the sandal you almost have to take them off to get it out because they have a hug fit. If it is hot outside they can be a little sweaty but other then that a great sandal.

I own around 30 pocket knives. I know, I am a geek but i have 4 sogs and this is my favorite. very good for everyday carry. It has a very smooth open and close. A perfect size.

I love it when companies are innovative and it works. These are different from your typical trail run shoes. I like the look of them so much that I decided to use them as an everyday shoe. If you have a narrow foot you may want to downsize a half size. I usually wear a 10 but had to return to get the 9-9.5 and they fit perfect. they don’t have half sizes because they come with different size inserts with every pair for a perfect fit.

Got these on sac and I really like them. I am 6foot 170 and I got the larg because I don't like them really tight. it seems like they add 8-10 degrees to my sleeping bag. I weighed them in at 7oz.

this is a great stove. It is also nice to have one of these because everyone has parts for it when they wear out. very easy to replace as well. great boiling time. this is how to make peole that don't like backpacking, like backpacking.

You either have an osprey body or you don't. I didn't. I like the pack a lot but my body didn't jive. I didn't like how you couldn't get to the waterbottle yourself. I had to ask someone to get it for me everytime I got thirsty. I didn't like the moon shaped compartment but I think the new model is much better. It is worth trying to see if you are one of the Osprey lovers.

I love this pad. the best one out there. the only down side is you have to spend 3 min blowing it up but for me you look at 3 min vs. 8 hours of good sleep. it comes with a patch to repair but I have had no problems. gear getting lighter and lighter is a great thing but it also comes with added resposibility to be more carfull. Know what you are buying.

This is a great bag and good quality. I am 6' 170 so I got the long and it was a good choice. if I were to do it over again I would maybe get the mummy version because I am skinny and I have a ton of room in my feet and legs so it takes 30 min. or so to warm it up but once I do it is great. I love the fact that I stay on my pad but it is a little okward to sleep on my side but it works. One thing to know is that it is a big set up so if your backpacking tent is small you may want to consider something else. for example if your tent is 30 sq feet or less and you are sleeping two people in the tent you may not be able to fit two of these. I really like it and would buy it again.

This is a great tent. Me and my family have used it 3 times and has been a good choice. Big Agnes has done a good job sealing all the seams because not a drop of water got inside. Good venting. Easy set up. Good in the wind if you stake it down correctly. I would suggest getting the added vestibule because it is a good place to keep your coolers and other supplies in the shade. the vestibule is not as big as the pic but still good size. Sleeps 5 comfortably. really a good family tent.
