Definite improvement over the standard strap

Suunto Vector Strap Kit - Black Fabric

I sooo hated the strap that comes with Vector. I'd been looking locally for this strap for a year, finally found it on backcountry.com. Almost do not even notice my watch anymore because of this strap. If you have the vector, this is a must-have accessory.

meh..not impressed

MontBell Super Spiral Hugger #0 Down Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree

MontBell Super Spiral Hugger #0 Down Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree

was not that impressed. I have used this bag in two different cold environments where wetness was involved. Bag is not the least bit resistant to weather. Condensation on Mt Shasta soaked thru half way thru the night, and similar experience in the Smokies in winter as well. The Footwell also does not seem to keep warmth very well. Looking to offload the bag now.

in both cases I was in < 10degree weather. This bag is well suited for dry and 15 degrees.. (and I sleep VERY warm).

Very good The North Face gear!

The North Face Apex Trekking Pant - Men's

The North Face Apex Trekking Pant - Men's

This is one good pair of pants for cool weather!
I've used my APEX pants this season for snowboarding, and backpacking. I've spent a few days near zero in these pants and have not worried too much about the chill factor. They tend to run a bit long. Overall though this is a really good The North Face product!
