Alpina BC 1550 Cross Country Backcountry Boot - Womens

The man and I went out for a sweet little 8 mile tour near Mt. Audobon in CO this weekend. No blisters after 4 hours of touring! The conditions were thin and we had to do lots of technical side stepping over rock and up steep muddy sections. These boots are stable, yet light, and COMFY! I was really impressed with this boot. I have a wide toe box and a short foot. It's usually pretty difficult for me to find something that doesn't pinch the sides of my feet. This boot works great for me.

Four bikes might be tough. Especially with female frames. They don't fit the rack as well and might take a little wiggling to get on. I would go to a bigger rack system for 4 bikes.

Nice Rack

Thule Ridgeline Hitch Bike Carrier - 4 Bike

Easy to install. Easy to use. Can fit three mountain/road bikes on it without any swinging. I drive a Toyota FJ and I can lower the rack down and fill the back up with groceries and gear when needed. Hit the 4wd trail with bikes on, no problems. My boyfriend is a total gear freak and he just loves this rack. Well built and tough. Great purchase and worth the extra cash.

Went for a 10 mile hike right out of the box. No blisters and no pain for my short and wide feet. They are great for some mellow bouldering off the trail. They also look very nice on. I am a 6 and ordered a 6-1/2. They fit perfectly. Great for trail running, approaching climbs and hiking. I wear them everywhere. I need another pair!
