Burton AK Gore 2L Vent Pant - Men's

Burton AK Gore 2L Vent Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 23, 2007

If you really want to appreciate the quality of a Gore Tex garment put on these pants, go out for a hike in a driving rainstorm,(be sure to wear other appropriate gear), and get stuck in a 35 mile per hour wind that makes the rain fall sideways. No umbrellas do a very good job of keeping you dry in these kind of conditions; but the vent pant will not only keep you dry and warm, but will also actually feel comfortable in such conditions, and won't get so warm that it feels like it's too heavy, or makes you perspire intensely. Gore-Tex breathes, and sheds excess water. So even though you may never get to K-2, you'll appreciate having the kind of gear those who do, use.
