Timberland Rugged Leather 6in Boot - Men's
November 20, 2010
Here are mine after about two years of use. Minus the dirt they're still doing well even after lots of ankle deep mud and water and little to no additional care. The sizes run different. Typically a boot is a size smaller than say your running shoe; these are smaller. I wear a 10.5 or 11 in addidas but my timbs are 9.5. My only complaint is the soft soles. They wear out a bit quick for 160 $ boot. I am going to try to get them replaced though.

Armada JJ Ski
January 26, 2012
i would go for the skis you want right away. no use buying something that you expect to grow out of immediately unless you get them super cheap or something. I came from the same place you did: hockey> board > skis and dove in with some decent dynastar legends and havent been disappointed with them at all. but just like boards there will always be something new or better out there in a short time and there can be deals to be had late in the season. In all honesty i would say that now is a solid time to buy- it looks like rockered 95+ mm underfoot skis are going to be the norm from here on in. i would say go for a softer pair of 185's or larger- your gonna bulk up in a couple years i assure you. Buy decent boots, and consider AT or tech bindings before you throw a grand or more into it. that's my 2 cents anyway

Rottefella Rottefella NNN BC Magnum Binding
January 2, 2012
Yup. New Nordic norm bindings lock you in from a standing position and you can release them with your poles while standing as well. They can get a bit fussy if iced over but that's not a huge deal. Note these are Backcountry width sized. That is they will need NNN Backcountry "BC" boots. the mechanisms that hold the bars are wider on bc bndings than regular ones.

DAKINE World Traveler Surfboard Bag

Google says at least 12lbs. Over 14 lbs in total shipping weight. I would imagine it would arrive in a large cardboard box.

Fischer S-Bound 112 Ski
January 2, 2012
This ski is hot waxable in the tip and tail for downhill rides but has a waxless scale pattern for touring style kick and glide for low-ish angled approaches that don't require skins. Almost like a Frankenstein creation of touring ski at the end and scaled xcountry underfoot. If you are looking for a waxable cross country or "Nordic" ski you will need to look elsewhere.

Primus OmniFuel Stove
December 12, 2011
That is a really awful idea unless you were hoping for some type of mythbuster like explosion. Camp stoves should only be used with fuels they are designed to operate on safely.

Dragon Mace Goggle Replacement Lens
December 11, 2011
You need to make sure you have the correct goggle. Your picture looks like the Mace style but if that is incorrect you will end up with the wrong fit and they will be useless. The rogue lens is different see here : http://www.dogfunk.com/dragon-rogue-goggle-replacement-lens and the Dxs is not even close. This lens specifically is designed for mace goggles.

Sorel Kingston Peak Boot - Men's
January 21, 2011
what would the suggested temp be for these? are they going to be way too hot indoors with the liner? if you were to take the wool out of them whats the fit like? would late spring temps be out of the question?

DAKINE High Roller Snowboard Bag
September 23, 2010
i can squeeze in my 165 rossignol board and a pair of dynastar 178 skis if i tie up the breaks with my pair of snowboard boot poles jacket googles and most everything else in the 185 size. i could probably get my ski boots and board boots in there but youd have to lose something. the trick is to lay the skis flat against the back and put the snowboard bindings so that they straddle the bindings the opposite way so you can zip er shut. it might not work if you have a narrow stance on your snowboard or its short like a freestyle setup. i end up having the nose of my big mountain snow board nearest the wheels and the ski bindings sit nice between the bindings top sheet to top sheets. you could always take your board bings off too. that would be a peice of cake to get it all in.
