Thule Atlantis 1800 XT Cargo Box
November 8, 2011
I have a 2006 Subaru Outback wagon and I am trying to decide between the Thule Atlantis 1800 and the Yakima Skybox 16 box. Both of them fit my car according to the websites. My questions are -
1) will the Atlantis 1800 leave room for me to open my hatch completely without having it hang over the front?
2) is there a big difference in the quality between the Thule Atlantis and the Yakima Skybox? The Atlantis is much more expensive, even comparing the same volume sizes between the two brands.

Does the Pro version of this cargo box really improve the sound and aerodynamics of it THAT much? Just trying to decide if is worth spending the extra money or not.
