I'm a college student who loves to play soccer, play in the powder and do little 180s on my snowboard. Swimming in alpine lakes and summiting non-technical peaks in hiking boots make me happy. And friends... freaking love my friends.

The North Face Freedom Insulated Pant - Women's

November 25, 2008

Do the bottoms have any zip? Is it easy enough to fit them over a ski or snowboard boot? My old pants zipped and I would slip the gator over, then slide the zipper down and it was awesome. I see these have a gator - cool. How is it with fitting over though?

Bright, wonderful, comfortable. I wish it had an adjustable clicker thing like others have though to click it up or down for differing angles. But I'm a happy kid, it's great.

Good pack, a little thick

I noticed that while traveling on the airlines with a good amount of stuff the pack gets really thick and hard to shove under the seat. It's worth mentioning because it seems to have a lot of special features/things in each pocket which increase the "thickness" of it when it's empty. I really like this pack though, it's comfortable, the black color looks professional, it has nice mesh pockets on both sides for Nalgene, iPod, cell phone, sunglasses. I really like that. And the mesh in front is awesome too, I always throw an extra clothing layer in there. Also nice having the laptop sleeve in the big pocket. I like this pack a lot.

It seems like everyone else covered all the great features. The only complaint I have is that I wish it had water-proofed zippers.
