Saved my bacon (and my water)

CamelBak Ergo Hydrolock

I've always hated the squishy mouth piece on my camelback as when ever I put down my pack or roll over in my tent, I end up loosing a bunch of water and soaking my gear. Not now with the simple solution. I just finished a 14-day backpack trip in the sub-arctic where clean water was scarse. After filtering my water I didn't want to loose any. I didn't. The extra step before a drink didn't slow me down at all and it gave me great peace of mine.....q

Not a backpacking shirt

The North Face Primus 1/4 Zip Tee - Short-Sleeve - Men's

I bought this shirt to go on a major hot weather backpacking trip. The extra seams make it look groovy and dig holes into your skin under the backpack straps. The shirt itself was comfortable, but was totally unsuited for carrying a pack.
