comfy socks

X-Socks Hiking Sock - Men's

X-Socks Hiking Sock - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 14, 2007

I bought the size of the socks that corresponded to the sizing chart and they fit perfectly. Took these for a 2 day romp through the mountains of big sur and am very satisfied with the feel of this sock. No blisters and no aches means being more comfortable at the end of a long day. Definitely a step up from your standard wool hiking sock.

handy clip

CamelBak CamelClip

CamelBak CamelClip

Rating for this product: 5 February 14, 2007

This camel clip works well for keeping my bladder hose from going backwards across my bag where I cant reach it. Still haven't played with it enough to get it in the right spot where I can drink at ease, but not have the hose in the way. A nice accessory to experiment with.

Great pad

Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite Sleeping Pad

Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 5 October 25, 2006

This pad is much lighter than my previous air mattress pad. Also, laying it out and packing it in my pack takes but a few seconds. I look forward to packing lighter and hiking longer!

good water sack

CamelBak StoAway Reservoir

CamelBak StoAway Reservoir

Rating for this product: 5 October 24, 2006

I purchased this camelback water reservoir for my dad. While backpacking, he was always trying to manage trekking poles, nalgene bottles, and encroaching brush at the same time. This water sack leaves his hands more free and makes water breaks much simpler. I have also used it while snowboarding. The insulation helps to keep the water from freezing up in the tube.
