OMG So Comfortable

Patagonia Active Boxer Brief - Men's

Patagonia Active Boxer Brief - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 11, 2008

The Patagonia Active Boxer Briefs are absolutely The Best, so light and dare I say.....Sexy, yes my wife loves them too:-0
Great in the Las Vegas heat and so easy to dry, they do not ride up and no chaffing in the nether regions if you know what I mean?
The price is a little on the higher side compared to other makes out there, but for what you get they are well worth it. I loved them so much I have thrown out my Calvin Kleins and replaced them with these undies.

Toasty Warm

The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Men's

The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2008

I bought this jacket for a winter trip back to the UK, Usually I would use a rain jacket as typically it's wetter than colder back across the pond. I was glad I picked up the Nuptse jacket as the temp was below zero the moment I stepped out of the terminal, that factored in with the 20 - 30 MPH winds made me think of a chilly wait for the transportation to the rental car. Fear not, this jacket actually kept me not only warm but I had to crack the zipper open to vent some heat. You feel a bit like a blimp with the down but it's well worth if for the warnth this jacket keeps in. I like this jacket so much I bought the sleeveless version for thoise times when you just need to keep your inner core warm.

HUGE

The North Face Base Camp Duffel

The North Face Base Camp Duffel

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2008

I first purchased my large NF Duffel in Bright Red in the hope that my luggage would stand out on the airport carousel, no problem there the Yellow or the Red certainly stand out. I was a bit unsure if the bag would stand up to whatever goes on behind those check in desks and down below in the baggage dept, but I was happily surprised when I reached my destination to see not one rip, not one torn zipper only some dirty boot marks, which I wipped off with a rag. I was so please that I bought a Medium for small weekend trips, a small for overnight trips and an XL for those longer trips.
My only complaint is that the XL is so huge by the time you fill it you need a Sherpa to carry it.

SuperDuper

The North Face TKA Micro 1/4 Zip Fleece Shirt - Men's

The North Face TKA Micro 1/4 Zip Fleece Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 22, 2008

The TKA Micro Fleece is light so it packs well, feels so good on the skin too. TNF products usually have long arms but these fit perfectly. No need to wear a big T-shirt under this, just a plain cotton undershirt and this product will keep you warm.
I'm going to buy another one for myself and try and get one for my wife also.

Hmmmm Silky Smooth

Patagonia Capilene LW Boxer Brief - Men's

Patagonia Capilene LW Boxer Brief - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 22, 2008

Not as expensive as my Calvin Kleins and way more comfortable. I ordered the large and they seem a little too big for me, so I've ordered a medium just to compare. No chafing and the waistband is super smooth too. It almost feels like your not wearing anything.

Ex Officio Give-N-Go Below the Belt Brief - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 February 22, 2008

Being a boxer guy I thought I'd try something different for a change. I liked the idea that they are vented, but the cut and shape of these didn't appeal to me. If you wear briefs all the time I'm sure you'd like them, but if you're a boxer guy, these are not comfortable.

Great Jacket

The North Face Apex Free Climb Jacket - Men's

The North Face Apex Free Climb Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 22, 2008

I had the older version of this jacket for about 6 years and loved it.
I finally traded up to this jacket and while it is just as good at stopping the wind and the APEX fabric is much more flexible, I didn't like the fact the moved the two pockets up higher. On the old jacket they were lower and felt more comfortable. Forget about walking with your hands in the pockets on this jacket. Still a top class jacket that is durable lightweight and sharp looking.
