Oakley Crosshair Sunglasses - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 22, 2009

I fell in love with these the first time I saw them, when I bought a pair I wasn't in the least bit dissappointed. These feel very durable, and are incredibly comfortable, I have a little larger head.
On top of the great Oakley quality, they have taken a classic look and added some edge to it.

These should last you a while, unless your face gets run over by a truck while wearing them.

MSR HyperFlow Microfilter

June 23, 2009

I've seen that some people have had troubles with this pump slowing down after using it several times, I have also seen that when it is back flushed it fixes this problem, has anyone had a similar experience where it works fine after being backflushed?

Also, it would only be used by 1 or 2 people over about five days.

Big Agnes Gunn Creek Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Synthetic

June 15, 2009

If you are going to be desert camping where nights are going to be in the 50's or so it may be too warm, however i find that i can usually just zip the bag open and use it more as a blanket and works great.
If you are going to be doing high elevation camping then it will probably work great for you.

Big Agnes Gunn Creek Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Synthetic

As long as the zippers are the same length and are right and left zippers, and same type zipper.
This Gun Creek bag will work with most of Big Agnes' other bags.

Cool beanie

Oakley Fine Knit Beanie

Oakley Fine Knit Beanie

Rating for this product: 4 June 10, 2009

This beanie is nice and warm, although a little big, and my head is bigger than average. I generally don't use it for winter sports but for backpaking, I like to wear a beanie at nights, and because of it's size it doesn't fit tightly on my head wich makes it comfy for sleeping in.
I love the simple, clssic styling of it as well.

nice pants

Columbia Omni-Dry Silver Ridge II Convertible Pant - Men's

Columbia Omni-Dry Silver Ridge II Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 10, 2009

I have only used these pants a couple of times, but so far so good, they are durable, very light for packing, and comfortable, I also really like the built in belt.
Also when you zip off the legs, the shorts are long enough that you don't feel like you are wearing basketball shorts from the 1970's.
I'm going to order another pair or two.

Great pad

Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad

Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 5 June 10, 2009

Very comfortable pad, I love that it slides perfectly into my Big Agnes Gun Creek 30 Degree synthetic bag.
It takes just about two minutes to fill with air, and that is without hyperventalating.
Packs small by itself or can be kept in the sleeping bag sleeve and packed that way.
Overall great pad that is very comfortable.

Nice bag

Big Agnes Gunn Creek Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Synthetic

Big Agnes Gunn Creek Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Synthetic

Rating for this product: 5 June 10, 2009

I love this bag, very lightweight and very warm, used along with the Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad, makes a great lightweight, convenient system.
I am a big guy, and needed a little more space in the bag, so I purchased the bag expander directly from Big Agnes, it added 7 inches of girth and is much more confortable now without adding much weight.
Probably plenty comfy for someone with an average body frame or even slightly above average frame without the expander.

K2 Extreme Alpine Ski

K2 Extreme Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 November 3, 2008

Before you make a choice based on the post by maestroejd100103519, keep in mind that he is talking about a ski from 20 years ago, these are not the same skis as twenty years ago. The only real resemblance is the graphics.
