I got this rope at the same time my friend got the Petzl Nomad rope. We both climb 2-3 times a week. 5 months later people still ask me if my rope is new. Conversely, my buddy gets teased that his rope looks like it was fed through a wood chipper. I also find it much easier to undo my f8 knot after taking falls on this rope. This rope handles and feeds very smoothly. I am extremely pleased with this rope and plan on buying the same one again when this one finally wears out. It is a pretty rope too so it will make a nice rug when that day comes.

I bought this harness because of the venting it offers and in that regard it did not disappoint. As a lot of the previous reviews said the waist to leg ratio on this harness is a bit off. The leg loops are snug and I have to tighten the waist as far as it will go. The front gear loops slope back into the rear of the harness and when I am on overhanging routes the quickdraws slide to the back. It is lighter than my BD Monentum harness and it doesn't give me a heat rash on my back though so I'm gonna keep it.

I got these for hiking out to and wearing at the crag. I decided on them because they were adjustable enough to be secured tightly to my extremely narrow feet. However, when they are tightened enough to prevent slippage while ascending or descending hills the hard bulge on the molded piece the straps attach to digs into the inside of my ankle and is really painful. I even tried wearing socks and it still killed my feet. As a result I do not use these for hiking.
