Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 August 9, 2006

We used these - three of them - for Kilimanjaro. Overall, for a light down jacket, they worked very well. If there was one modification we would make it would be to have gone with a hooded version - detachable or not. Mountain Hardwear makes a good product and it performed well in the 10 - 15 Degree F weather on summit day.

Worked very well for Alpine start summit days and options on the lamp extended the life during the climb. This worked better than previous versions of headlamps we had used.

While a little lightweight for full protection. This jacket worked well on our climb of Kilmanjaro.
