Patagonia Custodian Short - Men's

Patagonia Custodian Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 December 9, 2008

These shorts are alright, but I wasn't overly impressed. I don't think the photos show it well and it's not listed in the specs, but there is a cell-phone sized pocked midway down on the left side. They are a little too formal and stiff for taste, but seem like they'll last a good while.

Marmot Hueco Short - Men's

Marmot Hueco Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 9, 2008

The material these pants are made of stretches quite a bit. They run a bit big and the front pockets are shallow enough that you can't really put anything in them. Great for climbing or any other outdoor activity.

Great

Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pant - Men's

Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

I love these pants! I've worn them at least two weeks in the month since I got them. They are durable, fit well, and very comfortable. You can actually climb in these. They look good enough you can get away with wearing them as more formal pants, too. It's a keeper.

Scarpa Vision Climbing Shoe

October 13, 2008

I wear 11.5 street and got 44.5 and they are a little more snug than I would prefer. I would try a 45 and get a half size down if they are too loose.

Awesome

Chaco ZX/2 Diamond Stealth Sandal -Men's

Chaco ZX/2 Diamond Stealth Sandal -Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 9, 2008

These are great sandals with the grippier soles and the double straps provide a more secure fit. However, the toe loop seems to tighten itself, so it has to be readjusted every few days. They're great from river to city to desert and canyons. Great for scrambles too.
