G3 Expedition Climbing Skins

G3 Expedition Climbing Skins

Rating for this product: 4 January 4, 2009

Great skins. Durable and will climb anything but 100% ice. Don't glide as well as some others I've had, but for the price an excellent buy.

Black Diamond ClipWire Ski Leash

Black Diamond ClipWire Ski Leash

Rating for this product: 4 January 4, 2009

Much better than most others as far as quick in and out. Havent come unclipped on me. A note, I have a sz. 31 boot and at first didnt think these would fit. I gave them a chance and they are literally perfect with almost not extra leash to get caught and send me for a ride.

G3 Targa Telemark Ski Binding

G3 Targa Telemark Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 January 4, 2009

Im new to tele so I cant say this with great experience...but I really like these. With my T2X's these are very light weight for short to medium tours but still allow me to charge when I feel the urge. The cartridges make some noise occasionally but everything seems to be holding up very well after a few months of relatively hard use. Bought the climbing wires for the steeps and they make a huge difference-same as the AT setups...

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 November 17, 2008

Last years model are the nastiest, sicky...est things I've ever had the pleasure of riding. Even with all the crap out here sometimes in the East they performed flawlessly. I'm sure these are even better with a slightly wider waist under foot. If in doubt...don't be.

Black Diamond Traverse Ski Poles

Black Diamond Traverse Ski Poles

Rating for this product: 4 November 17, 2008

Last year whilst skiing with a ridiculously heavy pack on I bent a lower shaft. I bend it back into place with my superhuman strength and survived. It was about $15 at the local shop for a new one, and I still have the "customized" one as a spare. Lightweight, durable and very easily adjusted poles, just realize they are a "lightweight" design.

The best

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon STS Skins

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon STS Skins

Rating for this product: 5 November 17, 2008

Work great in almost all conditions, with only minimal ice/snowball accumulation under foot in VERY mixed conditions. Very easily fit and adjusted and the clip system keeps them in place no matter what. So much nicer than my older skins that would fall off in the worst of places...Store them correctly and they will last a long time.

Smith 2008 Variant Brim Helmet

Smith 2008 Variant Brim Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 November 17, 2008

This helmets fits perfectly with Smith goggles and is very comfortable. I have a fairly large dome (7.5ish) and the large fits comfortably with a thin hat on under. Cant get over how well the Smith goggles fit with the brim, I always used to fight my Smith goggles and my Giro and could never get em perfect.
