My favorite jacket

Arc'teryx Accomplice Fleece Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Accomplice Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2010

Looks great, is warm enough for a mild Tucson night, and fits under a hard shell nicely for skiing. Couldn't be happier.

Pretty good

Montrail Flow Hiking Shoe - Men's

Montrail Flow Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 19, 2010

Done a good amount of light hiking and some snow shoeing in this shoe. Had good grip and is quite comfortable to wear. Somehow small chunks have been cut out of the light grey part of the heel. So some durability issues with that respect. Otherwise a great shoe.

Serfas Serfas Headlight/Taillight Combo

Serfas Serfas Headlight/Taillight Combo

Rating for this product: 3 January 19, 2010

Good battery life, but not the brightest light ever. I'm pretty sure cars can see me, but I have trouble seeing the details of the road in front of me. Make sure you know the road you are biking on if you are going to rely on this light only.

Good hat

Arc'teryx Embroidered Bird Baseball Hat

Arc'teryx Embroidered Bird Baseball Hat

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2010

Its the only hat I wear. I have a huge head and originally thought the large I bought was to small, but after wearing it a few times it feels great.

Not good at holding rope

Arc'teryx Pali Rope Bag

Arc'teryx Pali Rope Bag

Rating for this product: 2 January 19, 2010

This is my least favorite arc teryx item I have purchased. It simply doesn't hold a 60 meter rope well. Unless it is perfectly coiled it won;'t even fit in the bag and then after that the roll-top closure doesn't stay closed. I've been walking along with this bag multiple times and have had the hole rope simply fall out. Very frustrating to say the least. The one nice feature is the included tarp. It is quite large and works well.

Excellent

Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad

Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2010

Have spent about 15 nights on my pad now and I have nothing bad to say about it yet. I sleep way better then I use to on my thermorest pad. I was slightly worried initially about popping the pad, but so far have had no problems. The only time I've had a problem was when it was about 30 degrees overnight and I the pad never warmed up. However, they make an insulated version that my friend had along and he was much warmer than me.

Not good in wet weather

Hestra Guide Glove

Hestra Guide Glove

Rating for this product: 3 January 19, 2010

The gloves (like all hestra gloves) are very well constructed. However, even after using the included leather treatment and some spray on wate proofing the gloves would quickly get wet. I used them for skiing only and the portion of the glove that grabbed the pole was aways wet and soon the rest of the glove would follow. So if you ski in questionable conditions (33 degrees and snowingish) in the northwest I would not recommend them. However, for drier conditions they were very warm and comfortable.

Does the job

Arc'teryx Rho LT Bottom - Men's

Arc'teryx Rho LT Bottom - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 19, 2010

Have worn these skiing and backpacking. The material is very soft with a good amount of stretch. I am wearing a a large and I am 6' 3" and weigh about 180. I am slightly concerned about them wearing out. The material doesn't seem incredibly durable. Overall they are warm and do the job. Arc Teryx loves to put those little pockets on everything, but I've yet to actually use one.
