Meridian Pants Vs. Wind River Mountains

The North Face Meridian Convertible Pant - Women's

The North Face Meridian Convertible Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 21, 2006

I purchased these pants to replace my North Face pants, which I'd had for years and years. These pants passed the test on three trips to the Wind Rivers in Wyoming so far this summer. The temperature changes from high 80s to low 40s; even with an occasional snow shower. The pants were easily stripped to shorts that were a comfortable hiking length. Sitting on rocks, slipping over downfallen limbs, and trekking through creeks, they showed no wear. After a quick wash, they were as good as new. With every wear, I love them even more. Can't wait to go on the next hike. Wish they had ankle zippers to slip over my Vasque hiking shoes, though.
